A new system to detect lying on social networking sites

European scientists working on the development of a system currently detector lies on the social networking sites , especially on Twitter , this new system comes to combat the spread of lies and rumors on social networking sites , which cause a lot of problems .

For this purpose, met five scientists from the University of ( Sheffield ) in the United Kingdom in order to establish a system designed to search for the source of the news published on the modes of social networking with all the speed and thus determine the degree of accuracy and what if it is true or just the news of a liar or a bad rap , and it will be rating this news Alkhath into four types : guessing , doubtful , misinformation and then finally mislea

ding information .

The new system will be called (Pheme) or Wim relative to the Fama ( Fama ), which according to mythology Romania ( Goddess of fame and rumors ) , as it will be targeting fraudulent accounts on social networks or those that are publishing false news .

This project is supported financially by the European Union is estimated at 3.5 million euros and will be ready by those who support it by the year 2016.
