IOS 7: Resetting the iPhone settings without losing data

Here are some very simple steps that work on all iPhone and iPad and you can use in case of problems. This concerns both the internet connection as connecting to a wireless network or 3G networks, application problems, icons, sending SMS, ringtones or display of emails etc ...

Go to Settings under "General" and then touch down list choose "Reset"

Several choices are available to you now, these should be used depending on your problem and the amount of information that it is acceptable to lose because each manipulation necessarily triggers the removal of that you customized. 

Reset ALL settings 

Unlike the line "Erase All Content and Settings" we will NOT use here, "Reset All Settings" does not delete the contents of your iPhone. This means that you will keep your SMS, emails, photos, music and applications. 

However you will not keep the WiFi settings, custom ringtones or regarding the settings of your iPhone such as confidentiality or alarms. Useful for example if you are lost in trying to optimize the battery.

If you encounter connection problems, use the reset network settings. 

Reset Network Settings 

This operation will reset all the network settings and thus remove wifi networks recorded and key security. Remember to bring the key to your wifi network that will be useful to set up your wireless network.
Select "Reset Network Settings", a warning will prompt confirmation. Attention all network settings, wireless security keys are erased, remember to check that you have this information.

It takes a few seconds for the iPhone to complete this operation. You can now try to connect the iPhone to a wireless network. 

Reset the Home screen, dictionary, localization 

These three options bottom of the screen are a little less "destructive" than its predecessors, it will be necessary to choose a priority if you have a more focused problem:

Reset Keyboard Dictionary - Use when words recorded and re-proposed by replaying are out of date or contain errors. 

Reset Home Screen - A good way to find a little planning if you have made many changes to your screens and icons. Nothing is deleted, just reorganized as the first day, with the icons of downloaded apps stored on additional screens.
